Wyoming WWAMI, the state’s only medical school, held its 2024 Legislative Day on Tuesday, February 20th at the State Capitol where more than 20 students, as well as legislators from across the state were in attendance.

At the event, students were able to connect with legislatures and community health leaders about the current state landscape and look ahead to the future.

"Legislative Day is a great opportunity for our Wyoming WWAMI medical students to come to the state capitol and meet with legislators and the Governor,” Wyoming WWAMI Assistant Clinical Dean Dr. Robert Monger said. “They learn about the legislative process, healthcare policy issues that affect all of us, and how important it is for physicians to become involved in advocacy.”
