Washington Medical Legal Partnership seeks summer intern
Congratulations! You did it!
Congratulations to the 248 UW medical students who matched last Friday! Things to know:
Students matched into residencies in 26 specialties across 40 states.
Aggregate Match results. The 2024 Match results for public distribution are posted at https://education.uwmedicine.org/career-advising/data-reports/. Here anyone can see a deidentified list of where people matched. Match results include students and sponsored graduates.
Individual Match results. Due to broad interest in where our graduating students will go next, Student Affairs and Academic & Learning Technologies created a new UW School of Medicine Student Match Outcomes - Public Report. When prompted to log in, use your UW NetID and password.
The report shows this year's individual Match outcomes for all students who have given us permission to release their information publicly. Any student who has not opted-in to the release is not listed in the report. However, students who went through Match can update their permission at any time by resubmitting the release form. and
their updated response will be reflected in the report on the next business day.
Want to see pictures of students who matched? You have many options: Search social sites for the hashtag #WWAMIMatch or #HuskyMatch and look for the official UW Medicine, UWSOM and WWAMI channels. Some sites may still be gathering photos.
The Financial Aid team would like you to have a chart that compares the different loan repayment programs currently available to students. Open the loan repayment chart here.
Graduating students will want to check the MS4 newsletter for links appropriate for their status.
Deadlines are approaching for discounts on optional study tools

Washington Medical Legal Partnership seeks summer intern
The Washington Medical Legal Partnership is looking for a medical student or other health sciences student who is interested in a summer internship. Working with clinicians and attorneys from the Medical Legal Partnership, summer interns will develop fact sheets and workflows for clinical teams to efficiently access, review, and (if needed) challenge matters related to Prior Authorization. In addition, the team will use test-cases with common clinical conditions to screen for any barriers to access created by this process, use of outdated clinical criteria, or failure of health plans to meet requirements of the new law. For information about the timing, stipend, location and more, see the partnership flyer.
