In-person Seattle Health Equity Conference is Wednesday, April 10, 2024
The conference “Tackling Structural Discrimination in Health Care with Data-Driven Approaches” is sponsored by the UW Housestaff and Quality Safety Committee (HQSC) and Network of Underrepresented Residents and Fellows (NURF).
There will be a focus on disease prevention and on end-of-life and palliative care. You can learn much more about the event and speakers at the event website.

Location: Health Sciences Education Building, Room 101
The BIPOC Journal Club meets online on April 17 at 6 p.m. AK, 7 p.m. PT, 8 p.m. MT. This fifth journal club will focus on language usage and how it impacts the communities that students serve and the culture of medicine.

There is now a collection box outside A-300 in the Health Sciences Center to donate food to support students and members of the Seattle campus community in need.
The UW Food Pantry is committed to ensuring that no Husky goes hungry. It provides food to UW students, staff, and faculty who may be experiencing food insecurity. The Pantry is located in Poplar Hall 210. Learn more about how to use the pantry and how to donate by visiting their website.
